Ingredients
All of our teas are sourced during peak season to ensure top quality and freshness. Our tea is made with zero artificial flavourings because we value the preservation of the natural taste of high quality tea. Oftentimes, artificial flavouring is used to mask the low quality of tea.

Antioxidants
Mass-produced teas lose their antioxidants and are usually blended with lower quality tea leaves. To ensure the retention of antioxidants in our teas, we use whole tea leaves that are high on the gradation scale, rather than tea dust typically used in bagged tea. We are proud to say Good Tea Co. ranks in the top 5% of global luxury tea standards.

Pesticide Use
Since pests that typically attack tea leaves cannot survive at higher altitudes, specific areas like Darjeeling and the Kenyan highlands are able to grow tea without the of use pesticides. In places like Japan, pesticide levels are monitored to ensure they do not exceed Japanese Minimum Residue Levels, which are the most stringent standards in the industry. Our certified organic teas do not use pesticides, while our non-organic teas may use a small amount of pesticides when required; however, any use is minimal to ensure our quality and safety guarantee.

Organic Certification
Good Tea Co. is proud to be Organic Certified in Canada, the United States and the European Union. We currently offer 12 organic tea options and may continue to offer more in the future. Our non-organic teas meet organic standards and any natural flavourings are all organic compliant; however, they are not organic certified at the farm level due to the high cost involved with certification.
